1991 BMW K-Series

Description

This 1991 BMW K75 which was featured on www.returnofthecaferacers.com was acquired in stock form by the seller in February 2020 and subsequently rebuilt as a cafe racer by his shop, HellGate Moto in New York City. Only 200 miles since completion of build. 55,xxx total miles. These K bikes are known to run for 200k miles when properly maintained.
The bike features Bmw Donnington Grey bodywork over a shortened gloss black frame and a custom seat loop to match the new Twisted brothers seat fairing. A custom Motoforza front bubble fairing was fitted along with a bespoke mounting bracket to support the fairing and create the vintage cafe look.
Power is from a 750cc inline-three cylinder motor with a custom supertrapp exhaust system.
2007 Suzuki Gsx-r 750 front fork conversion. Fully rebuilt front end with new seals. An adjustable progressive rear monoshock was installed to modernize the suspension to be fully adjustable front and rear.
Gsx-r clip on handle bars with Crg lane splitter mirrors.
Bsk speedworks rear set was fitted with bronze Oilite self- lubricating bushings and brembo master cylinder with braided steel brake lines.
Front brake master cylinder upgraded to 20mm diameter to accommodate Tokico 4 piston calipers with
Venhill braided brake lines.
Front Morimoto bar end turn signals. Rear Motogadget m-pin turn signals. Led tail/brake light.
Shorai 21ah lithium battery mounted to a custom carbon fiber battery tray with a 3d printed rear fender.
Tenet control unit connected to a Smith Replica Speedometer.
Brand new Pirelli Angel Gt II tires front and rear.
Transmission seals were replaced along with the throttle and clutch cables, fuel and brake lines, tires, and spark plugs.
All maintenance has been performed including drive shaft spline lube.
