    Description

In 1993, Dankens Ice Cream company in Seattle, Washington produced a limited edition ice cream honoring Pearl Jam. The flavor is Peanut Butter & Pearl Jam (Peanut Butter Ice Cream with Raspberry Jam). This was an unlicensed ice cream honoring the band; however, without approval, Kelly Curtis and the band could have stopped production. Because the PJ featured flavor was only available for a limited time, they didn’t try to block sales. My brother and I ate a lot of this ice cream and I managed to hold on to 2 containers in my PJ memorabilia stash.
I couldn't find another example of these Pearl Jam Ice Cream containers on the internet for sale so I'm considering offers.
This auction includes 2 containers with 2 lids.
Here is an old article from the Seattle Times about the ice cream https://archive.seattletimes.com/archive/?date=19930226&slug=1687505
There are some flaws on the containers but I’m not 100% sure if they were that way when I bought them or not. The one defect that happened over the years is a small crack in one of the side walls of one of the containers. The other container is unbroken.
Just to be clear, these are empty and were washed years ago. There is no ice cream in these containers. If you are wondering what it tasted like, throw some peanut butter and raspberry jam in vanilla ice cream. That was about it. LOL.
Ships priority free to a good PJ lovin' home.
