Rare Vintage Walt Disney Productions Donald Duck Skiing Brooch Pin Iridescent

This is a Rare 1940s painted metal pin of Donald Duck on snow skis. It is one of a series of at least three pins featuring Disney characters involved in winter activities. All the pins in this series were dipped in white enamel (such as was done with pots and pans in the 1940s) and then hand painted.

Donald Duck, heading left but face turned right, as he is skiing. He wears his trademark blue sailor suit, plus red ear muffs. The skis are brown and he carries green ski poles with red stabilizers at the bottom.  The detailed 3D pin measures 1 7/8" tall and wide. The backstamp is, "© WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS."
Other pins in the series include Pluto (#15679) and Mickey Mouse (#19165).
The brooch is in overall excellent vintage shape.  The C-clasp on the back works as it should.

I have not cleaned this item aside from a light dust off. Light soiling, dust, old age toning, dents, paint loss could be present along with other minor wear consistent with age.
