The 2013 Romanov Dynasty Nicholas II .925 Silver Coin
This coloured Uncirculated Cupro Nickel coin, including Nicholas II, last Emperor of Russia, carries his portrait and a picture of St. Basil's Cathedral, one of the most renowned buildings on the Kremlin World Heritage site where Nicholas II was crowned. Ruling from 1894 until his enforced abdication in 1917, under Nicholas II Imperial Russia went from being among the primary fantastic powers of the world to one suffering under military and financial collapse.
The obverse of these terrific coins brings an effigy of Her majesty Queen Elizabeth II, by Ian Rank-Broadley FRBS. Ian Rank-Broadley is one of the primary carvers working today. His effigy of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II has appeared on all UK coinage given that 1998 and the Pobjoy Mint has special usage of the 'uncouped' effigy that appears on the obverse of these coins.
